These Site Guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain what is allowed and not allowed on TLCDesk.com (“TLCDesk”, “we”, “us”). By using TLCDesk, you agree to follow these Guidelines and our Registration Terms & Rules.
Our Goal
TLCDesk exists to support TLC drivers, fleet owners, and the rideshare community with respectful discussion, education, and helpful resources.
Be Respectful
Treat others with respect. Disagreement is fine; harassment is not.
No hate speech, threats, intimidation, or targeted abuse.
No doxxing: do not post anyone’s private information (addresses, phone numbers, plate/VIN, license numbers, personal documents, etc.).
No sexual exploitation content, non-consensual content, or content involving minors.
No Illegal or Dangerous Content
Do not request, share, or promote illegal activities.
No instructions or encouragement for violence, self-harm, or wrongdoing.
No evasion tips for law enforcement, TLC rules, insurance, taxes, or safety regulations.
Keep It Relevant & Accurate
Keep posts on-topic and in the correct categories.
Do not knowingly post misinformation, scams, or impersonate others.
Clearly label opinions vs. verified facts. If you share “news,” cite sources when possible.
No Spam, Scams, or Fraud
No spam, repetitive promotions, or link dumping.
No pyramid schemes, fake job offers, “guaranteed earnings,” or deceptive referrals.
No phishing, malware, or suspicious downloads.
Any marketplace-style posting must be honest, transparent, and comply with our posting rules.
Advertising & Promotions
Self-promotion is allowed only where TLCDesk permits it (e.g., designated categories) and must be truthful.
No unsolicited promotional private messages.
We may require vendor verification or remove promotional content at our discretion.
Privacy & Personal Data
Do not post personal documents (DMV/TLC cards, insurance cards, receipts with personal data).
Blur sensitive details if sharing images or paperwork.
Do not share private conversations without consent.
Intellectual Property
Post only content you own or have permission to share.
Do not upload copyrighted material (manuals, paywalled content, pirated media) without authorization.
Moderation & Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion:
Remove or edit content
Move content to appropriate sections
Limit features (posting, messaging)
Suspend or terminate accounts
Report unlawful activity where required
Reporting Violations
Use the built-in report tools or contact support. Do not “fight back” in public threads—report it.
Changes
We may update these Guidelines at any time. Continued use of TLCDesk means you accept the updated Guidelines.
